Margie Scott Tucker created the current event program for Books, Inc. in 2002 and currently oversees events, website, newsletter and all areas of marketing, as well as managing the company’s Human Resources.
Rev. Maggie Oman Shannon, M.A, Unity Spiritual Center, San Francisco, CA
An interfaith minister, spiritual director, workshop and retreat facilitator, Reverend Shannon is also the Spiritual Director of the Unity Spiritual Center and author of six books on spiritual practice and creativity, including Prayers for Healing and Crafting Calm. In 2000, Oman Shannon founded The New Story, a coaching and consulting business focused on helping people create deeper meaning in their lives. The former editor of three national magazines, including The Saturday Evening Post, Oman Shannon also served as Director of Marketing for the Institute of Noetic Sciences. Sue Wilhite, Events Manager, East West Bookshop, Mountain View, CAEast West Bookshop is the largest and oldest metaphysical bookstores in the Bay Area. Sue books over 300 events a year: author signings, lectures, workshops and concerts with presenters from around the world. You MUST RSVP NO LATER THAN EOD March 24th, NO EXCEPTIONS! The Hotel really wants us to have an accurate number of orders for this. If you aren’t able to attend and you RSVP to pay at the door, please tell me no later than 3 pm March 24th, as well, or we may have to nag you with a bill (and nobody wants to do that on our volunteer, unpaid board, trust us!).
We will not issue refunds after 3pm on March 24th.
