Dear BPF Members and Books & Booze subscribers,
Thanks for hanging in there over the past few months while we combined these two organizations via the correct legal channels. We are now an official 501C-3, non profit organization. We will be keeping the two names of these organizations, but they will be housed under an umbrella organization called Bay Pub.
I am the interim President for the next 6 months (or however long it takes to find a new President) and I look forward to serving you. Our Board of Directors is greatly depleted at the moment and we are looking to fill at least 3 spots, so bear with us as we move through this process of reorganizing and re-prioritizing our goals and objectives.
Our first organized event will be a Summer Social Event in July. We decided that we should start this union off with a big party. We hope you agree. Stay tuned for details.
Over the next few weeks we will be updating the website and sending out an invitation for the party.
We are also in the the process of organizing a few events for Fall.
