Important Update Regarding Membership

Hello Book Publishing Professional!

This year has been a year of transition for us here at Book Promotion Forum. From transitioning to an official non-profit status to saying goodbye to a President and welcoming a bevy of new Board members. While this year was quieter for us events-wise, our new partnership with Books & Booze brought a slew of new faces to our Spring Fling party and brought the whole Bay Area publishing community a little closer.

One of the newest changes to BPF we’re ushering in this January 2016 will be a transition from a Membership Model to a Sponsorship Model. What this means is that instead of inquiring about a yearly Membership renewal, we will be asking you to become a Sponsor for BPF events each year. This donation—unlike previous years’ Membership fees—will be tax deductible since we are now an official non-profit company. And we will still have the same fun industry-wide mixer parties (like our annual Holiday Party, save the date for Dec. 15!) and the same educational events—all with one $15 flat ticket price for interested attendees.

Gold Level Sponsor ($200+) benefits include:

Exposure to other publicists, media, and publishing companies: As an official BPF sponsor we will include your name/website/company logo on our website, on each of our monthly newsletters (which boasts 2,000+ industry subscribers), and on each of that year’s event program handouts to attendees.

Access other publishers’ conference notes: BEA? Digital Book World? IBPA? Romance Writers of America? Comic Con? San Francisco Writer’s Conference? Who has the time to attend all these different conferences and conventions? As a Sponsor you’ll have the opportunity to share the notes you take from conferences you attend and download the notes shared by others. Win/win!
